Samuel devoted his life to serving God. He was the son of Hannah, a woman who had long struggled to have a child. Hannah prayed hard to the Lord, promising that if He gave her a son, she would dedicate him to God. The Lord answered her prayer, and Samuel was born. ❤️
True to her promise, Hannah brought Samuel to the temple, where he served under the priest Eli. One night, while Samuel was sleeping, he heard a voice calling his name. Thinking it was Eli, he went to him, but it was actually the Lord calling Samuel. This marked the beginning of God speaking to him in a special way. 🙏🏽
As Samuel grew, he continued to listen to and obey God. He became a faithful leader who guided the Israelites to turn away from their sins and return to the Lord. 🙇🏽
